How about some provenance, size, full pics of the article and of every side?
Otherwise, it appears to be a Christian statue of indiscriminate origins.

Sorry I will get exact measurements in a bit but it's about 2 ft long including back board 7 inches wide seems nailed on wall plauqe

I wonder if it is a representation of a Catholic Saint.
St Martin de Porres comes to mind - if not only because I have a relic of his.
Do you have any idea of country of origin?
