Just like many others he may have just decided to step away.

I'm sure we could start a list of long timers who have just disappeared.

That being said, I wish no ill will upon anyone.

I was just wondering the same thing myself.

I remember that he posted that he lost a supply bank...or maybe it was a dump bank. The last post I remember was that he was working dimes.

I miss his funny quips and stories. I recently used one of his lines, as I held up a 1971 JFK half, to show a branch manager that was questioning why I was dumping $500 in halves. "See, these are really, really old coins." Rich would have been proud of me, because I got "a look that could kill."

Guess you had to be there, but it was funny.

You know, on second thought, I heard a rumor that Rich was working for JP Morgan helping them strategize how they could better manipulate the silver market. :laughing7:

I just drove through his hometown a couple of days ago. I was thinking about him!

A week or two ago he mentioned that April was going to be a very busy month for him, and that he wouldn't have a lot of time for searching.

Hope to see him back at it when things quiet down for him.
