Thanks for the I.D. guys! No wonder I couldn't find it. My book doesn't even list Armenian coins! You always wonder how a coin like this can get lost on a beach in San Diego. I didn't realize we were a hot spot for Armenian tourists!

When I looked up the currency exchange, it said that $1 equaled 408 dram. That would make a 500 dram coin worth about $1.18 or so. Is there numismatic value to this coin?

I am trying to get all the countries' coins and I do not have Armenia. I would pay about $3 for that particular coin.

Thanks for the offer but I've never had an Armenian coin before either! I think I'll keep it in my collection for the time being.
