Just ordered the Ladybug from Predator Tools. Anyone have any thoughts on it? Anyone here had a chance to use one yet?

I also have the Pirhana. Was thinking that the smaller size of the Ladybug would make a nice companion to the Pirhana.

All thoughts, options and reviews welcome.

I know what you're thinking, but it's for my granddaughter. I use the Pirhana. Hope that's manly enough for ya. Lol.

But in all seriousness, if it was the baddest digging tool on Earth, it could be called the rainbow warrior and have flashing rainbow lights and I'd use it. I'm too old to have anything to prove...

And coming from Predator Tools, I doubt it'll bend. Guess I'll just have to see for myself when it arrives. Was just thinking that maybe someone else out there could gimme the lowdown on it before it came in. Can't find much about it on Google.

They have a good rep so you'll be fine, I'd like the little mac. I use an old dalyn trowel and a little pal shovel which does the job.

I've given up trying to wear out my Predator shovel!
I totally agree, man. They're built to last.

In the past, I've owned the Barracuda, and now I own the Pirhana and the Lady Bug.

The Pirhana is identical to the Barracuda in length of handle. But the blade is a few inches longer and slightly wider. Easier to get depth with and easier to remove dirt from the hole. The Lady Bug is small, but it'll cut the cleanest plug you've ever seen. All three are pretty much indestructible.

I also have the Tombstone by Grave Digger Tools. It's a beast as well, but I hardly ever use it anymore due to the square tubing used for the handle (just feels awkward) and the shallow angle of the cutting edge.

Keep telling myself I'm gonna take a side grinder to that thing and give it a proper edge, like the one that comes on all Predator Tools diggers.
