On land that we have helped do an Archie dig on & have prior permission to search, we always do the following after the Archies have finished;
Grid over the filled in trenches that are of interest to us, as 30 of them were blanks, & see whats left.
Cru'dad did exactly that in a couple of hours solo hunting;

Makes sense as they put the good stuff away to get a picture what is under the ploughed soil. Ours have created a separate job number for finds coming out of the top soil over the trenches.
