Not really that tight, but like a lot of folks, the economy has really caused me to live much leaner, "a lot leaner!" :help:

I got scottish blood in my background (my mothers side --her father was a scot - irish mix back ground * ( west virginia coal miners)-- my gramps hated "english" anything) -- that could explain both my large size and my money collecting ways -- as scots are famous for being "tight' fisted. :wink:

I put into gear my couponing and it works

last grocery shop was $195 and I paid, drum roll, $104
yup I saved $91 I was surprised how well I did, but it was a heck of alot of work matching up coupons to store sales etc

and one time it was like $80 and I paid, drum roll, $11 (oh yes I did well on that trip)

FC, I was channel surfing last night and came across a program I think it was on TLC about this woman and her husband went to the store with coupns and bought something like $4,000+ in groceries for $47 .....did anyone see that? :icon_scratch:
