Morning,

Things you find in pottery are always neat. Some of the Caddo stuff we find in Louisiana has very intricate scrollwork as well as punctations....you can see fingernails, and figure out in many instances just what tool they used to make the designs. Never get tired of seeing stuff like that...by the way, you have the hands of a true digger. No doubt you love what you do!! Nice to see a kindred spirit. Coming to work after digging in walnut roots will get you some interesting comments. ;D

Happy Hunting,

Atlantis

thanks you guys
I appreciate the comments
I guess you are not tired of this pottery business
I am anxious for the 2 feet of snow on that field to melt so I can get my hands in the dirt again
Russy just brought me another 5 gallon bucket full of pottery that we found in my shop that he washed up for me
I will try to go through it this weekend and see what is in there
I sure hope I can find some cool stuff in that bucket
If I find some pieces worth posting you will be looking at them soon

once again, thanks Atlantis, and thanks Newt

I am enjoying all the owls :tongue3:
If a group of quail are a covey a group of geese are a gaggle and a group of crows are a flock what is a group of owls called ? A "hoot" ?
