Not a chance...
In the story he says at one point that in about 1997 it would all come out in the news and there would be pictures. But that has never happened to my knowledge. Some say due to the politics of the region, it would not be good to bring out such news at this time. I hate to be left 'hanging' and never hear the 'end of the story'!
Interesting story
I am a little suprised he actually managed to get permission at the historical site. I do have tendancy to agree with rebel. As for the possabilty of the temple treasure being buried under the city it is possible but unlikely.
There was another expedition that caused a stir among the religious zealots in around the early last century.
