Hi ya,ll,man I really like this site!Lots of info and tips.Lots of topics to peruse and friendly folks too.I,m In S.E.Arkansas,a small town called Dumas,not to be confused with Dumas,Texas no diss intended.I don,t have a detector yet saving up to get one and I can,t wait,got my eye on a Garrett Ace 400.I have a lot of knowledge on maps and aerial photos and how to use them and have already located some nice places to hunt,old house places mostly,found by studying old maps and comparing to later editions.I,m 68,semi retired with a 5 year old Grandson I hope to take with me so as to get him away from his Ipad for awhile.I,m still learning the site so I hope to be able to better communicate on here if I have any finds in the future.Thanks,Jim.:hello2:

Welcome! I have been thru Dumas many times. I went to college in Monticello and a frat brother used to live in Dumas.
