I can just make out SIGNA 282 MUS I believe on the bottom ribbon. The cross was red at one time. Found today at an old homesite. WW11 time period I would think. Found near Ft. Rucker.
Anyone familiar with this?

Look up 167th Infantry Regiment on wiki and there's pictures and info. It looks the same to me although there might be some modifications/re-design. As far as I know, that doesn't happen often but it could with deactivations and mergers. If it isn't the right one I'll keep looking. Go Army!
