Artifacts from Alabama and Id help

I received these today in the mail from my friend in AL.She found these in her backyard and rain offs from a overhang..I told her I would find out any information on what the are and what kind of material they were made from and how old etc..Thanks for looking and helping me find out any info on them!!

Here's a piece of pottery she included and on the inside you can see parts of finger prints..I thought that was neat to show off.

I can't help you any with the ID's on these pieces, Rob, but I have an almost identical bone piece like the one you have pictured.......I found it while metal detecting on an Indian camp site(the site also has an old foundation on it). I have often wondered what it was.
Maybe SRV(or someone that finds bone pieces all the time) can tell if its a native used piece or just another animal bone?

Armadillo scales! or bones or whatever they are called...I found some too this summer, a whole pile. I thought they were neat till I found out what they were :-\ Still kinda cool looking :icon_thumleft:

Thanks again targe!!!When I was looking at the pottery shard and I couldn't believe there where still prints on it after all these years!!It's a very cool piece in my very small collection,lol!!
