Went to another one of my parks today. Finding a lot of clad but nothing noteworthy. Then I got a quarter hit at about 4". No big deal, more clad for the pouch. Cut my plug and felt my digger hit something. I wasn't too worried as there is not much old in this park. Out came this. Looked bronze on the outside but silver where my digger hit it. I thought it has to be a knockoff. Took it home and cleaned it. As you can see at the bottom of the coin, it says copy. So I guess you can say I found my first piece of replica treasure.

Had the same thing happen to me in a park with a copy of a rare Roman Coin. Got me scratching my head for a second!
