I looked at a F5 at my local dealer and when I held it and looked at it, well it just felt like it was a cheap made machine and was wondering how it would hold up in the field. The one I looked at was a F5. Share your thoughts on this with me please! I would be using it mostly as a relic machine so it will be treated sort of rough out in the field.

Thanks

I used mine at the CTH2 this past wknd and had no problem at all.If it said a target was there,it was there and the depth was pretty accurate. It is light as are the Tesoros and the Minelab XT series.I wouldn't confuse weight with inferior.Just my thoughts.

For the money the F5 is a sweet detector, its cheap compaired to others with those features. They could have made the housing a little tougher looking but for $399.00 bucks its a bargan.
