Hey all! I have a question regarding a specific river. The river in question is the Salmon River. Has anyone here any experience acquiring gold from this river, either NF or SF? It would be a good place to camp and prospect...at least it seems so to me. Your thoughts. I await with pins and needles. Thank y'all.

Every state in the west probably has at least 6 salmon rivers.
If you want information about a specific river you need to be more specific

Salmon river in northern kalif has some great spots and some zero zip zilch-you need to name a area also to get decent info as some been absolutely raped. My buds M/F went up a few years back, ran 2 -8" and never paid for gas even. Seems to be more gold in banks up there than river but a B said-many snakes in many states-John

Sorry. (sheepish grin) I meant to say Salmon River in CA. Specifically, Sawyer Bar and down river toward Forks of Salmon. Have heard Sawyer Bar produced a lot of gold. Again, sorry bout my mistake and not specifying CA.
