Nice shots NGE :icon_thumleft:, I love the clouds :laughing7:, and you look like you have a good tripod . What is the bird in the last shot?

Canadian "poop" factory. Canadian goose. The pic with the chain in it, the clouds are reflected in the water, the other cloud pic with the sun peeking out, was taken holding my polaroid sunglasses over the camera lens, looking directly into the sun..........NGE

I'll have to try that , the part with the sunglasses, sounds like a good idea. I must admit to liking the "Chain" photo too, I just wish it could have been bigger. But , thanks NGE, you have given me some ideas, I hope you don't mind if I expand a bit. I will of course tip my hat to you .

I have a couple more with the sun more out of the clouds, very interesting, used the same technique. I'll go get a couple and resize them bigger and put them in here........NGE

haha! Canadian 'poop factory'! You hit it dead on, nge. As a park ranger I would tell folks it wasn't a good idea to feed geese in their campsites. 'Awww but they're so cute!' Never had to tell em again. We used to knock the bottom out of a brown beer bottle and take pics of the sunsets with our Polaroid swingers, and they did look pretty cool. Good pics you got!
