s-l1600.jpg 949ab11b-663b-4078-bb9e-d3f6fd677533_1000.jpg I think it might be a Bounty Hunter it is at home depot now for $49.95.. It is called a quick shooter.. I watched a video on you tube for it and it seems to be as good as any $200.00 detector and they are on ebay for $99.00 b4654146-375f-4cec-bf91-56d36ee33ccf_1000.jpg But then i do not know about the warranty on it.But what i under stand it is sold for $150.00 at most places..

At that price, you can get two, one for each hand!

Well at that price you would not worry about warranty or extra coils.

I think it's a CG 1032 - made in China - not a Bounty Hunter.

Looks like a lot better option than the $50 harbor freight one for someone just entering the hobby on a tight budget.

I agree with that. If the machine isn't a wobbly mess, if it hits on a dime at 7", then it certainly is a great value for those out there just praying for treasure. Seems detector users are coming out of the woodwork in this somewhat immaterial area of the nation. Looks like it's going to get crowded out there, guess we better hit it hard while we can.

It's chineeeeessssseeee. Good to keep in the car to test sites for potential or hit a tot lot if thats your thing. A few years ago those chinese knock offs were good for finding a Volkswagen at 4" but since bill clinton put the entire US patent office on cd's and gave it to the chinese when he left office, they've been making pretty good knock offs. The old ones where basically a stud finder in a metal detector body.

Yes there is just to many out there with detectors now it has been that way for a few years now. I have been saying that for a few years just to many. And you have to thank the internet for that with all these treasure forums. It sure does not help us old timers out but it sure does help out the dealers ..

I heard a guy found a 1956 Buick with one of them.

Of course he was standing in the middle of the street, and got run over... but it beeped until the end!

I'd say the 250 would smoke this thing, doesn't even appear to have a pinpoint function.
Depth wise may be close but I would think that would be about it.

Depth is what i look for in a detector If it is the same as the 250 it is worth the money. There is really no need for a pinpoint on a detector . I can pinpoint by sound..
