Newer park, kid's soccer field, not gonna expect too much. :)

2014 (857).jpg

So, I was hunting along, wishing for something nice. I said to myself,
"Welp, I'm hunting a kid's soccer field. What could I expect besides
pennies? Toys? ;)

The next find?

Did find a Wheatie, lightly toasted.

Blingie & Fishy seem happy enough.

The Sand Dollar is silver. So, that makes it a successful hunt.

But, see how kind I was this time? My subject line could have read:

"A SILVER DOLLAR!"

See? I don't ALWAYS try to hook the readers. LOL

Thanks for peeking!

Well said, I agree totally, it is nice however to get a good job, or nice find occasionally, I mean that's what this sites for afterall ain't it?, to "show off" lol

Yep, to have somewhere to share, with people who can appreciate what it means to find a wheat penny sometimes. Like I say, I know they're reading, but have no way to know if they liked what they read unless they take a moment to say. :)

Nice finds! Congrats!

Looks like Blingie just may let Fishy have the silver sand dollar!
We appreciate your wit and wisdom!

I ran out of time last Sunday so couldn't post my latest pile of pennies!
We will have a good old ne'ester this Sunday rain, 45-60 mph wind gusts and a touch of snow, guess where I'll be! Yep right out in the middle of it! Hopefully I get more than Pennies this time...I may not have to wash my finds! Lol!

Keep hunting the unexpected happens....just ask Murphy! Lol!

Cool finds. Technically, you DID find a silver dollar.

a good hunt indeed. Anytime silver shows up it's a good one.

If you can get to the coast, soon after the Nor-easter, might have some good luck on the beach at low tide. :)

Stay warm!

How did you know it was electronic? Did it have a battery? OR... was it just a painted, metal tube? ;)

It was just a tube but the " filter " screwed off and could be replaced with another. It had a brand name on it, but I don't remember what it was now. It went into my junk pocket of my pouch and into either the park's trash can or mine at home. I believe the " cigarette " part was either black or blue.
