I am thinking about picking up a new metal detector and have been looking pretty good at the AT Pro and AT Gold.
I live in the desert so the water proof does not mean a whole lot (until the monsoon season kicks in).
I will use it for coins, relics, and hunting for gold. What say you all?

Thanks,

Yea that's kind of what I thought.

Ford, Chevy, GMC, Dodge, Toyota?????

Matter of preference...

I am just trying fo choose between Gold and Pro. Both are good machines.

Thanks :icon_thumleft:

If you want sub gram gold, the AT Gold is the better choice. It will pick up much smaller gold than the AT Pro. Works great for relics, and has a true all metal mode.

Give me a call if I can answer any questions.

I would suggest the AT Gold, as it was engineered with gold hunting in mind. It has a true all metal mode which you find advantageous, plus an adjustable threshold for those very weak signals.
