AT Pro Screen Problem

I received my new AT Pro this last Wednesday. Since then I've put about five hours on it. It's help me find some coins including an 1897 Barber. Today, I noticed pixels or segments of the screen did not work (illuminate. Turn black). I changed batteries, undid and reconnected the headphones and coil. Not fixed

The following segments do not work:
"Coin mode" segment
The bottom segments of the VID - this should read 82 in the picture
The 55 and 60 notch segments
The three lowest sensitivity segments

Anyone else experienced this? I haven't even had a chance to get the warranty card sent in.

The machine has been to the beach but not submerged

Until someone pipes in - I searched

and found...View screen problem on my new AT PRO (Feb 18, 2016, 09:40 PM)...Also found others with problems and everyone got new screens from Garrett...

That's a different problem with the rainbow effect. The OP has a bad LCD or loose ribbon cable to the LCD if it's missing segments.

An update. Garrett had not heard of the problem. They sent me a shipping lable. I sent the machine back yesterday. A replacement AT Pro is being overnighted to me before the malfunctioning unit even gets to the factory. Mary Pinkard of Garrett customer service was great. So far, so good.
