I've never seen one being used but it sure looks strange. It is billed as the best seller. I would guess that there has to be some benefits to the design but I would have to use one before I changed from my scoop.

It seems like you could put it around your shoulder while detecting instead of holding it.

mine was similar to that when i got it but it had the loop but only one shaft....i cut the loop off of it before i ever even used it....seemed like it was too big and bulky

So what do you'll want to know about my scoop? It's easy to use ,digs fast ,and I've had mine for 15 years. I have the proto type of the ATH shark. If you use one you will never go back to a straight shaft scoop.It's easy to carry.
