Recent two outings to the same city park from the previous posts. The results, one 1887 Indian head cent, 7 wheats, most from the twenties. A dateless buffalo, followed by 4 war nickels on the same outing, thats my new silver record. Second hunt produced an even better nickel, a 1869 Shield nickel in really nice shape, just feet away from where the war nickels came, so i thought i might had an other silver nickel, but it was much better. Silver showed up in the form of an old ring, no markings but its unquestionable Silver. A ball button, a much newer shank style button, also a porcelain button, a pipe stem part, a rusty skeleton key, a junk plated ring, looks old. A very nice Elgin ladies pocket watch probably from the 20s or 30s, the other item with glass, im clueless as to what it was, maybe also some sort of watch. 12 Colorful marbles also showed up, kids really played here back in the day, thats why this section is so productive, the area measures about 20x20, so i bet there is still more lurking and hiding deep within the iron and other odds n ends also joined me. GL & HH to all.
