I could use some help!

I have been prospecting for a little over 30 years. I'll be in Sacramento the 2nd week of November on business. After work stuff , I'm picking up my son at the airport and we're headed to Auburn for a couple days of prospecting. I've been to Yankee Jim's and will return there to crevise again. Will pack limited tools with my luggage. Can anyone steer me in a couple other locations where access isn't too difficult( bad knee)? Hoping to maximize my time in the area and have some good father son time.

If anyone visits So Cal, I will gladly repay the favor on where to go.

Thanks!

Dgoldman,
The NFAR is currently very low so access to spots normally underwater are now available. I'd bring a 2' pry bar, a small but sturdy maybe folding shovel, a creviceing tool or two, a sifter, a pan, wear a good shade providing hat, have some skin UV protection on and plenty of water to drink as I've been told the river is full of algae.

Currently I am in the San Diego area though I spent many a year backpacking and prospecting along the NFAR.......63bkpkr
