Today was awesome. I finally got permission for a 1908 home up the street from me. I've been tryin to get this place for a long time, just never could catch the owner home. Turns out I used to work with the guy 14 years ago. Small world. Started diggin clad right off, then wheats. All keepers were between 5 and 7 inches. After a few wheats I got the 1906 injun. Then got a 1938 British West Africa Shilling. Few more wheats and the a 1947 Canadian cent. Then finally silver. A 1942 Merc. Another wheat an it was time to call it a day. Wheat total was 13 today, with the oldest being 1917, so not bad at all. Got a good mix of teens, 20's, and 30's. All in all a great hunt. Also got a cruddy tax token which is soaking. Luck in the hunt.
