Awesome mystery rock from old collection

My best guess is some type of jasper. It has crystal veining throughout, it's hard with sharp, points and edges. Fine grained. Mostly dull lustre with sections of pearly lustre. I think it would polish nicely. Found in the Upper Peninsula.

Brecciated chalcedony is quite possible.
