Awesome night! Relics...Wheats...Clad...SILVER COIN!

Went out last night to free myself from the long holiday week and loud out of state company, ended up hitting an old 1860 home site that is now a rectory for a church. Happy to say I found not only clad, some nice heavy iron relics and a belt and show buckle, but a 1918 & 1930 wheat penny, my first brass skeleton key, 2 bullets, and my first SILVER Quarter a 1895-O Barber!!!! So stoked!!

Well if you had to choose between a Washington silver quarter or a Barber we both know you hit a home run with your find. That is a wonderful coin and a great first silver quarter. Congratulations.

Nice digs!, I've found a buckle similar to the one in your 1st pic before, that barber is sweet!

The first is a circa 1880-1920 buckle cover/protector for horse tack buckles.

Congratulations on those great relics and especially on your 1895 Silver Quarter!!! Thats heck of a good find and as someone pointed out already, much better than finding the typical Washinton quarter, and I too love the Barber quarter and half designs! I've found 2 barber dimes so far but love the design of the quarter MUCH better! Very nice finds!!
