Looks a great deal like parts from an old irrigation system IMO. Appears to be an impeller housing from the pump and a few adapters/fittings.
I’m not sure though. I really hope your cannon muzzle idea is right.👍🏼

Well, the item, 2nd from the left, sure looks like the intake for a pump impeller. I’ve never seen a cannon or axle that looms like it.

Definitely not a cannon as they are very thick 3-5" and heavy brass. The metal has to be able to withstand the charge as well as the compression when being fired with out having the barrel explode

Axle pieces. The piece on the left seems odd. I'm convinced that it's the muzzle to a cannon and I'm taking that idea to the grave. Lol. Over 12 inches deep.

Any idea on how to date this?
