cool find, your gold color what is it is part of a pocket watch plate which held one side of the pivots on the gear train

Man those are some nice finds....I would say hit the area again...slow and low...and grid, grid, grid......You sure are lucky to get permission at a site like that.

What types of coins did you get? Can't really see in the pic. Thanks..and when or if you go back..post somemore of those finds.

I've been posting finds from this site for a few months. Check my history. Yes that is a quarter with a bullet hole. Second one I found here. No where near each other. Old coins have been limited. Two large cents, a few Indian heads, two buffs, a few wheats and a single Rosie.
