When digging this plate, there was a complete maze of roots that matted the ground where I was digging. The first part of it that I found was the "SC". My first impression was that it was another piece of old furniture hardware. I rechecked my hole and got the same intensity of signal, cut around the hole again, pryed up some more dirt and-wait a minute here! Another find for my old XLT.

Dang those roots. They just make a tough dig tougher. Hope to see more from that site. Cool find.

Congrats on the plate. Roots are a pain, but it seems like a lot of good finds are found in roots.
