Half cent is an 1826 and the large vent is too toasted for a date but I can make out a cap behind liberties head

Great finds Mike! You thinking the LC is a Lib Cap? If so that's a special find. Half cents are a damn tough find too....for me anyway lol

I Think it may be. I can see her andI do see a triangle cap behind her head and the L in liberty. Spacing looks correct. That's the second half cent I found there. Found a KGII a KG II and another European half cent I can't see what type it is. At least 6 flat buttons and my uncle found a half reale there too

Liberty Caps are rare and so are half cents actually - you scored ! I too would like to see some cleaned up pics (take your time ,do it right )
