We took yet another stab at the 1900's farm house this past weekend. Sadly no silver but did pull 27 cents clad, 3 wheaties, a buffalo nickel, and another interesting token. This time I was able to trace the token down to a fruit and oyster packing company circa 1920 so that is definitely going in the keepers book. There is still plenty of "fresh" land at this house as well so we will get more. (Picture)
We also had Round One at the new 1933 house that we will detecting at. Just like our farm house, lots of trash and lots of mineralized iron in the ground. First pass pulled up 75 cents clad (2 quarter, 2 dime, 6 penny). Any day that I get to pull a coin is a good day. Hopefully once we clear some of the higher sounding trash we can get down to the good stuff. (No Picture)
