Went back to the park I hunted recently, and
these are what I found on the baseball field.
10 Pennies
1 Quarter
2 pieces of copper
1 sliver of copper
2 chunks of iron
Some pieces of lead I think
and This Averex eagle medal
The oldest penny is 1961.

I think baseball fields are excellent for tons of clad and jewelry, I scored my second gold ring about 20ft from the dug out going towords out field!

The Larger lead piece looks like a musketball to me. The other is either a spent bullet, piece of shot, or a small caliber ball that was fired.

Thanks Bob, I was thinking the same about the two lead pieces.
Local history only breifly mentions a small civil war shirmish near a river in our part
of Northeast Arkansas. And said that may have been with bushwackers. At that
time there was only one home in the area which some believe may have been the
site of the skrimish. Other than that, only hunters, trappers and bandits were here.
I don't know the owner of that home place except by name, but was told that he
can be ornery. I'm still gonna try to contact him for permission to hunt his property
some day soon. HH, Roger(Yard Digger)

The Avirex "medal" is a zipper pull. Interesting though.
