Boy what a storm came through this evening. Thunder roaring and lightning with it. The tornado siren going off and then the wind came blowing the rain and hail on the house. I thought this time for sure the tornado was going to hit us. Third miss this yr, wow that was another close one. I bought a home on top of a hill just in case the dam ever broke I figured the home would have a better chance of making it. Well it sure does get windy and for some reason the tornados miss us which is a good thing for us. I saw where the storm came from Tn and was hoping everyone else was OK. I would like to know everyone is OK. Thats what this post is for. Just checking
Thanks, rock

Rock,

Pretty good light show and heavy rain came through down here in SW Ga. about an hour ago, but no damage was reported that I heard of through my police radio scanner. Hope everyone is good up your way. We are still enjoying the rain events that hopefully will end our drought.

The storm came thru Kentucky this morning around 3:00 am. I was getting ready for work when the thunder and lighting started. A real window rattler for sure. Just alot of wind and hard rain, the gulley washing kind.

We had 70 degree and sunny weather on Saturday, 4 inches of snow as it snowed all day Sunday, and then strong storms and massive amounts of rain on Monday that melted away all the snow. Very freaky weather this past weekend.

We got 12to18" coming my way.God I hope this is the last of it.Here's a spot I been hitting.First you wait for the tide to go out. Then you wait for the sheets of ice to melt. The joys of winter hunting.....

wind chill -11 degrees below zero this morning
wind 25-33 MPH

sucks

Larson! I'm going to have to send a prayer up for you. Those weather conditions sound unbearable to me. I moan and complain about 30 degree weather. It's been strange weather across the board, but -11! Wow!! It's bound to break soon! Hang in there partner.

The Columbus TV station reported last night that near Andersonville, a small town in our county, they had hail with 3.5 inch diameter. We had a lot of rain and lightning here.

Well the wind is coming down from the north to us now. Last yr it was coming from Cally and then to Ga. Now the wind has changed and every time it shows a storm up north I know we will be getting rain in a few days after. It is going to rain Fri, Sat and Sunday coming. Good thing I am off tomorrow which is Thursday.
I can go flip some good ones I hope before the next storms.
