Great find! 👍🏼 Gotta love that thrift store sterling! It is hard to see with the pictures, but it looks to be from one of their sugar/creamer sets? If it is in great shape and cleans up nice, probably worth more than said scrap value. I have sold a few sets over the years as well as a whole BBB 5pc Coffee/Tea sterling set and while the market is all over the place right now, they went rather quickly and way way wayyyyy over spot price. They've got some weight to them at 291 grams. Indeed they are part of a service set. Maybe more pieces of the set will show up.
