I found these today at a Goodwill for a total of $4.34. Being together 99 grams gives them a scrap value of close to 3 otz. of melt value, but I believe they're worth a bit more as-is. Searching the number A4024, I found a set on eBay which has an outrageous asking price, calling them Gorham's Chantilly pattern. Both are in great condition and I do wonder how old they might be.

Its a mystery to me how much gets overlooked and ends up in thrift stores. Be a frequent visitor is how I score. At least in the highly populated area thrift stores. I'm not working now and one of my plans is to do eBay again. There's so much in these places that you could turn a buck with. It's not all silver and gold. Which finding items of gold is vary rare to come by theses days. Some stores must feel anything silver is most likely plated.

Great stuff! I can’t see the symbols quite enough, but do a gorham search for date marks and dial it in from there. I do believe it is Chantilly, but if I recall there were several patterns within that line. Either way great find and I would gladly double your money plus a $5 for gas if you want to get rid of them QUICKLY,😳😬👍🏼. Keep Searching for the good stuff! Good luck👍🏼

I don't see a Gorham pictorial or other type date mark. Could be they were made within a time Gorham cease putting date marks on items from 1933 to 1941. Thanks for the offer, but these will go for now into my stash.
