So I hit a thrift store in north jersey today and walked away w some decent jewelry (including a nice david anderson butterfly for $5.00). I also bought a big box of bakellite flatware for $10.00. It sells really well apparently. I listed a service for 8 and already got offers. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1516740480.226943.jpg

Pretty cool. I’m expanding beyond jewelry to fund a rather expensive trip.

Happy hunting

That is cool. I've seen a few pieces of those Bakelite handle flatware in antique shops. Never a set though.. Should have no prob getting more out of the D-A butterfly. There's collectors out there who want every kind of example of those they can find. I always pick up the enameled silver Scandinavian pieces anytime I find them cheap.

Nice! A David Andersen butterfly is one of my bucket list items that I dream of finding in a thrift, flea or yard sale.

That was a pretty cool and unique set. I know I've not seen a lot of those flatware sets like that out there.
