Put the 8" coil on the F2 to cover more ground. Still quite a bit wet so I dropped the sensitivity a couple of notches. Last time I was there I used the sniper 4".
Dug some pennies, some can-slaw, and plain gave up in a couple of spots (ground falsing?)
Thought I had struck big silver with the dinosaur coin. Well, it probably was big to the kid who lost it. Maybe his lucky "I get a hit every trip I carry this in my pocket" token. (Don't tell me you didn't have one.) I had a lucky blue chicken. Went in a slump when it got lost. To this day, I swear that chicken cost me a major league career!
Poor kid probably kept Crackerjack in business trying to find another one.
I might start having to carry the dinosaur with me when I'm hunting! Made my day when I dug this 1964D silver quarter. Weather is getting better and the silver is getting bigger!
