I found these 2 cast kilgore cap guns on different hunts this spring. They had been setting in my keeper iron bucket out in the garage untill yesterday. It poured all day yesterday so I decided to do a little find cleaning. I gave both guns about 6 hrs electrolysis with my 12 volt battery charger! I am sorry I did not think to do a before and after! The gun on top in the photo is pre ww II and just says Kilgore no model name. I was not even able to find an exact match on any of the toy gun sites!! The bottom cap gun is a Kilgore invincable late 40's early 50's.It had a nickel plating on it. I am very happy with they results on the older kilgore model and now have it on display in the parlor/den. Maybe we should have a toy gun show similiar to the TNET auto show. Kinda like I'll show you mine if you show me yours!! ;D MaineRelic

Very nice work there. I would show you my gun, but you asked for toys. The only one I have found is the real deal ;D.

Mile-ender, that looks like a toy replica of the Colt New Line .22.

Ain't electrolysis fun to play with. I'm amazed you got them that clean after only 6 hr. It takes me a lot longer with my iron relics.

Whoops, I just noticed this thread is 3 years old.
