The Indians come out with a green crust and I just scrape the crust off with my finger nails. I only do this because, the coins are very scraped up, so I couldn't do any more damage. I sometimes take some of the wet sand and rub the coin between my fingers.

Real nice job. The Barber is a little rough to say the least but man regardless of condition it is an awesome find. Love to see them come out of the ground. Weather is still bad here so keep us entertained with your finds/pics. Thanks
