Barber, Tokens, More Silver...Another Video Too!!

Hello Fellow Tnetters,

I haven't called it a year yet. I'm still pulling the silver out of the ground, and the weather in S. CA is gorgeous!! It's taking more and more patience because I've been going back to places that have been pounded this year, and getting a few here and there. In two short hunts, I ended up with 6 silver coins, including a surprise '09 O Barber dime. Also picked up a small silver pendant which says "The Alamo". The two tokens look like large coppers; one says: "Pontiac - Chief of the Sixes", "Product of General Motors". The other one says: "Good Luck", "Knotts Berry Farm, Buena Park, CA". Probably 40's-50's tokens. So, all in all, I was very happy to get what I did. The big cross, with a knife shape on the bottom was an eye find. Sure is gaudy.

I'm slowing down a little on the hunts, but still having fun everytime out!

Another positive hunt Captain, way to break into the barber era.

Wish the weather was warm in the east, I would love to get out some more...I am looking at the video now...

YOU da Man!!! Another great hunt. Way to go. Congrats on the silver, but that Pontiac token is my fav.
I've seen others post those on TN before, and I hope I too dig one some day. I'm an old Pontiac nut.

We've been below freezing for over a week now, I cannot tell you how jealous a merc makes me right now, so....um.............ugh, nice finds(sigh!!).

Keep in mind that when you rub the dirt off of your silver finds, it scratches the shi* out of them.

Dan found hundreds of these and he just wanted to check the date for the camera. If you viewed his 1st video, he even mentioned that he doesn't "field clean." "I'll take a Merc anyday."
