Didn't get a chance to post my finds from yesterday's hunt with Lookin4seated and I am glad that I didn't. We went back to the same park today and it turned out to be a back to back Barber weekend for me! Needless to say I am still stoked about it. I broke 1800s on silver and got my first Barbers. :headbang:
It was also nice meeting Goio, McEtrac & TmanfromTexas. They stopped by to say hi.

Don't have time for a long narrative so I will just post the pics by day. Woohoo, here we go........

Saturday

1894 Barber Dime. This one was only 1.5" deep!

Sunday

1895 0 Barber Quarter

Total of 3 IH. (2)1897 and (1)1901 Here is the 1901. The 1897s came out kind of nasty so no pics.

Congrats on that Quarter! I knew it was a Barber when I saw your face, but wasn't expecting that! Oh yeah, and thanks for letting me listen to how that IH sounds :dontknow:

For the rest of you guys, Dan found an IH, I asked him to let me listen to it, he reburied it and covered the plug. Nice guy, right? Well....nothing. I'm swinging in every direction, and nothing. He swings over it too....and nothing :laughing7: luckily the plug was already dug so it wasn't too difficult to relocate.

Good huntin' today D

You're killing me Dan. Does that lucky horseshoe token say "BRIAN IS MELLOW"?

How deep did you re-bury the invisible injun? Near bedrock?

Them's some good digs for sure. Yesterday I got a good signal at 7 inches in the park, dug down and there was a mem cent in a smashed styrofoam cup. Arghh! Barbers at 1.5"!!!

Nice Barber. I know we have all went over that puppy before but the F75 got it for ya. Congrats. It was nice meeting you and Seated. One of these weekends we will have to get together and hunt. After we left yall we hit a spot for a while. It ended up giving me another merc and a 1900 barber dime. No O though but I will take it. I am still looking for that elusive barber quarter. I hope to find one this year. See ya. TMAN...

The horseshoe token says, "Brian and Melody". The Indians and Quarter were all at least 7" measured by the lesche and yes, the dime was on edge at 1.5". I couldn't believe it. I was thinking rosie when I saw the reeded edge.
