I guess I do not know how to ask ebay help on this. I am selling some flatware, I have a base shipping of 3.85 plus I want to charge an extra 25c per item. So I sold 5 forks, but I failed to list extra charge for more than one item and can not figure out how to do this.

I do not know about doing it on ebay but if you use AUCTIVA it is real easy. It is entered exactly the way you said.
Two boxes "cost" & "additional item cost"

I do not use ebay listing because of the hassle.

I've never done it but I did find this, so it must be doable- Specifying your shipping costs and locations

[h=2]Using flat shipping costs[/h]If you want to charge all buyers the same amount for shipping, choose Flat: same cost to all buyers. You can then enter flat costs for U.S. and international shipping. If you're selling more than one item, you can enter a shipping cost for each additional item a buyer purchases. The cost you enter appears in your listing.
