The beach was just gorgeous this morning. There were more surfers out than I have seen in a long time!
Here are my finds.

Encrusted items.

Plyers and stuff

I got a very weak signal and those can be quite a bit of work and this one was. By the time I was done diggin, I stood in the hole and it was past my knee! I got this pocket knife, the top serrated edge is plastic and I think it is a surfing tool, they sell wax combs for roughing up the wax on your board and I think that is what the top is..

I got there at 8 and walked very slowly into my house at around noon. I was tired...... My wife loves silver so the ring is hers!

Very nice ring.. You must be using a PI machine...
boy that's alot of digging...

Hope you find many more... Rings.. thats is..

Yep a sandshark and I love it. This doesn't include all of the fishing weights I found. I had so many of them that I had to stop and give them all to a fisherman. He was amazed and grateful. I still had so much stuff in my pockets my pants kept falling down!

Nice ring! Looks like you had a good hunt out there.

Sounds like time to buy a pouch and belt, or better yet, a backpack!

Excellent job Stitchlips! I'm going to be going MDing again (finally) to Jetty Park next weekend, camping with some friends but hope to hit the surf during the day and the sand at night for a bit.

The item in the middle of your ring looks to be Abalone. Abalone is a sea shell, I believe it is not considered a precious jem stone.

If it's not Abalone it could be of another type of sea shell or synthetic material that looks like it.

Either way it is a very pretty ring. Congrats on the nice find.

Good luck at Jetty Park! I haven't been there in years!
