One of the local beaches is really opened up. Got some silver dimes and quarters, some buffs, a war nickel and a pile of wheats. Rounded out the day with these two gold rings. One is a 7g 14k class ring. The other is a 7.75g 10k Masonic - buckle ring.

One gold ring is one thing but a matching pair like this both mason related? Something sinister has happened to the owner of those rings I think. You might want to do a search for a mason with those initials looks like maybe 21st degree mason?

I heard somewhere that if you throw a body in the sea it annihilates it leaving no trace.

Excellent! Gold is what it's all about. Your efforts paid off.

Never occurred to me that it could be from someone buried at sea, but then people lose rings at the beach so often.

Nice Masonic buckle ring, dude! I'm glad you in Jersey, not my beach, I mighta got jelous. LOL!

I ain't no computer expert, on my pic's. When you get ready to save them, SAVE AS, then where your destinate them to go, (that's up top), Before you go to "ok", drop to the bottom, save as, not 100%, not 75%, etc.....SAVE AS best for web.
That is all contingent upon, if your program screen thingy, looks like mine. hehehehehehe
But, it looks like you kinda got it. Great gold, fella! ;D

Super rings. Gonna keep em, scrap em, or look for the owner?

As far as the buckle ring, I have no way of finding out who it is - no markings at all. The other one...if I could figure out what the ring meant, I might try to track down the initials, but what does an owl ring with U P and 21 stand for?

Might keep the owl ring because its pretty cool, but a few hundred bucks for the gold is pretty tempting.
