I'm really enjoying this extended Indian Summer as long as I can.
But, I believe it's starting to wind down.

Anyway, went to a park where many, many people have looked over many years.
(Even our own OWK! LOL )

That little iron nail was on top of the target. :)

I would've sworn this was a large cent in the field
but here's what it is and what it used to look like:

See the little buckle that Blingie's frowning at in the next one?

Well, something I'd never dug before was in that hole too:

Now, I have found many, many golf balls in my "career"
but I have NEVER dug one up from about 6 inches before! LOL

Thanks for peeking!

This month is definitely a digger's dream, isn't it? That is a pretty cool token.

Looks like you cleaned up on the clad today. That token is a keeper for sure. I am taking Thur & Fri off so I can get a few more hunts in before I have to dress like an eskimo.

Yeah, it's been really nice for December.

The token, as I understand it, was actually part of a medal celebrating Dewey's return. It wasn't a really nice old coin, but
it was a very nice surprise.

Have you ever dug up a golf ball before? LOL

I like your token, and you surely pulled up a lot of coins others missed in that park which was hunted many many times.

Nice finds... love the token.

I have been making some recent return trips to this place, with good results. (recent silver and IHP's)

Will probably hit it again when I get back. (presently in China)
