Couldn't bear to waste it so I took a short walk around the mansion.

Didn't find very much but that really wasn't my purpose today anyway.
I just sort of meandered around thinking about just how sweet a year it's been and
such a good place to be.

But, before I wax poetic, here's what you came in to see:

This place ALWAYS fascinates me with what it turns up. :)

Not sure what it is but looks like it was plated at one time.

Not much, but I believe the day was a resounding success. :)

Thanks for peeking!

The thing with the 2 tines is so unusual, surely someone will recognize it and tell us what it is.

At first I thought it might be some part to a weird spur or something. But, maybe it's a part to something like an old water pump? :dontknow:

Your mystery forked piece was a moving part at one time, me thinks...maybe off of a whirlygig, cuckoo clock, or small engine. Can't wait to find out what it is! Sub 8-)

I was thinking it might be part of an old water pump type deal. :dontknow:
