Hey guys, new to the group. Every time I go on a road trip I collect cool rocks but I never really know what they are, can anyone help me identify this?

I was just by the Manitoba Canada border when I found this

Looks like a metamorphic rock. Maybe gneiss? I'm no expert so just a wild guess. Gary
