Beginners luck war nickel!

Today is my first day Coin Roll Hunting. I started with $5 in pennies which netted 110 coppers including a 56 wheat. I guess I caught the bug so I went to the bank and got $20 in nickels and $10 more in pennies(still havent searched the pennies)

In the nickels I found 10 keepers including a 45 s war nickel. I almost jumped out of my seat lol. Needles to say I am hooked lol. If I can ever find my camera Ill take a pic for you guys and gals.

I hope I can find a War Nickel in every 10 rolls of nickels I search lol. Not gonna happen lol

I bet there are lots of those silver war nickels floating around out there. Probably due to people not having any idea that they are silver.. I know I had found a few myself, can't remember what I did with em. I probably set them lose again not realizing they were silver

Way to go my friend. I too search coin roles but 56 wheaties out of 5 dollars worth of pennies is great. I usually only find 4 or 5. I have yet to find any war nickels but I have found several 1938 and 39 jeffersons. Not too long ago I found a 40% silver kennedy half (1969). Virginia is getting a lot of this good weather. Not good for global warming but great for detectorists. I will be hitting my virgin site up again. Good luck.
