Tried almost everything made since the late 60's
Kinda looks like a big bug. You know, with some of these new and cheap Chinese detectors coming out that have good performance, the one you're looking at may surprise you. But of course, it could just as well give you a bad surprise. Might be worth a try though.

My nephew has one of these. His says "Prospector 100." I saw a listing online with it, saying it's a "Discovery" brand. His cost about $70 several years ago. It works okay but has ground balancing issues if you move it from, say, a sandy, loose soil to a high-iron clay.
