As Bergie outlined in more detail in ... http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,118548.0.html he, Earthworks and I had a wonderful day searching the remains of this old track. I was lucky enough to find a bunch of wheaties, nickles, a button, etc. The most exciting however was this Buckle which certainly lends itself to the "horse track" area ... and clearly has some "age" to it. Below you'll see a before/after pick of the front only. No idea of its age ... and it measures about 4 " wide and 2 1/2" high. Any thoughts or ID would be terrific!

Looks great. Very cool to find something that relates so closely to the site. Was a nice day out there.
