Well, I'm finally getting around to posting my finds from the other day. Had a very long and hectic work week.

As many of you have already seen D-Dub's and TreasureFiends finds, it is my turn to show you mine.

It looks that we have come across a virgin site finally) I think we cleaned it up fairly well.

This site is great, since it has been producing nothing but oldies. Went out on Thurs, in hopes of pulling out some Barbers, which we all did, especially D-Dub (10 of them). But then I came across a goofy signal and out came a beautiful 1884-s Morgan dollar. After rescanning the hole, I pulled out 2 V-nickels and 2 IH's (all from the 1800's). Later in the hunt I got a deep silver signal which ended up being my 2nd Seated Quarter for the year, an 1877-s. Video and pics below. Enjoy and HH! :thumbsup:

That is a great spill. Detecting don't get much better than that. Unless you flip a gold coin out there you guys are ontop of it right now. Great hunts and good luck.

awesome finds! your crews videos are the best! after watching them i allways have the urge to hunt, no matter the weather! you guy should have a tv show!

Wow! that 1884 dollar you found is worth 1,500 proof ...and thats 10 years ago too... :icon_thumright:

Going back there next week, and digging all the low tones. Cherry picked it now for the Indians and silvers, Low tones are next. The dates of everything popping out coincide with the highest mintage of gold coins. I have a strange gut feeling there's one out there.

Hey if any one can pull a gold coin out of our group it will be you buddy!!! I was going after the low tones the other day and dug tons of 22 shell casings so your gonna have your work cut out for you. :laughing9:

Awesome finds, congrats! Go back to that site and dig it all, what beeps, just dig it. Great German token/medallion with the God Save Our Kaiser on it.

Great vid! Now one of you need to find that old rotted gold coin that must be out there with those old rotted silver coins. There just has to be one.

Hard part about a hunt like that is you have to stop at some point. You have one sweet spectrum of finds there. Here's to the next time you get out to that spot again. :occasion14:

lookn4seated, that is an awsome day of detecting. congrates. What state are you in? It looks like you guys are just out in the middle of the woods some where. Was there a house in the vacinity? What research did you do to lead you to this spot. How far from the nearest building structure were they found? do you think they were lost or burried. any clues as to how they might have gotten there? I am interested so I can apply your efferts to where I hunt in Montana. what is this detector that you are hunting with? Who makes it? Never heard of it. I hunt with an X-terra705 & GPX4000, both Minelabs.
